The first thing on the agenda for any blog is putting
everything in working order, and amongst other things, this begs the question
‘how should we look’. Much thought went into this, despite what you may see on
this pretty standard page. Food is nurturing, and providing that sense of
warmth is something that we very much wanted to convey. Food also has an energy
and vastness that is all too exciting, but how do we translate this into our
layout?
We by no means sought out to re-invent the wheel, a simple
layout with a clear archive menu should suffice, but the colour scheme should
match our foody inspirations. With this in mind we went for a simple two column
design, supported by a warm colour palette.
We hope that this layout suits both your needs and ours
moving forward.
